Removing aquatic vegetation on Lake Austin requires a permit from Texas Parks & Wildlife. Most homeowners don't know that until they're already in trouble. We take care of the entire process so you don't have to.

Two locals who got
tired of the weed.

ClearWake started the way most good local businesses do, with a problem nobody was solving well. Lake Austin homeowners were stuck choosing between harsh chemical treatments and doing nothing. We built a better third option: clean, manual hydrilla removal from people who actually live and work on this water.

Jack grew up on Lake Ray Hubbard in Heath, Texas, spending weekends on the boat with his family. Now a junior finance major at UT Austin, he built ClearWake to combine his entrepreneurial drive with life on the lake.

William Jaudes

Co-Founder

William grew up in Highland Park, Texas, and spends most of his free time surfing on Lake Austin. Also a junior finance major at UT Austin, he brought the same hands-on energy to ClearWake that he brings to the water every weekend.
